দোল মঞ্চ
বাংলার সমাজে বৈষ্ণব প্রভাব বৃদ্ধির সাথে সাথে মন্দির স্থাপত্যে যে বিষয়গুলি দেখা দিল তার মধ্যে দোল মঞ্চ এবং তুলসী মঞ্চ অন্যতম। প্রধানত অষ্টাদশ শতাব্দীতে দোলমঞ্চের ব্যবহার শুরু হয়। চারটি স্তম্ভের ওপর সাধারণভাবে একটি বর্গাকার কাঠামো, যার চারপাশে অনেকগুলি প্রবেশ পথ আছে। দোল উৎসবের সময় দেবতা এখানে অধিষ্ঠিত হন এবং দোল খেলায় অংশগ্রহণ করেন। যেহেতু এই স্থাপত্যটির মূল উদ্দেশ্য ভক্তগণ যাতে দেবতার দর্শন পায় তা নিশ্চিত করা সেজন্য মানুষ প্রমাণ উঁচু ভিতের ওপর এই কাঠামো নির্মিত হতো । সাধারণত পরিকাঠামোটিতে রেখ, চালা বা রত্নশৈলীর ব্যবহার হতো। বছরে মূলত একবারই দোল মঞ্চ ঘিরে দেবতা এবং ভক্তেরা সমবেত হন। এরপর বিগ্রহ মূল মন্দিরে ফিরে যায়।

তুলসী মঞ্চ
বৈষ্ণব মতে বিষ্ণুর প্রতিরূপ নারায়ণ সেবার জন্য মাঙ্গলিক অধিষ্ঠান হিসাবে বাড়ির উঠোনে তুলসী মঞ্চ একটি অত্যন্ত জনপ্রিয় ছোট স্থাপত্য। মন্দিরের ক্ষুদ্র রূপ হিসাবে এই তুলসী মঞ্চ গুলি নির্মিত হতো। মন্দির প্রাঙ্গণে এই ছোট অংশটি খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিবেচিত হয়। তুলসী মঞ্চের দৈনন্দিন ব্যবহার আছে।

Dol mancha
The growth of Vaishnava influence in Bengali society led to the emergence of distinct architectural features in temples, including Dol Mancha and Tulsi Mancha. Dol Mancha, primarily used in the 18th century, is a square structure supported by four pillars, with multiple entrances, where the deity resides during the Dol festival. The structure’s human-height foundation ensures devotees can glimpse the deity, while its framework often features Rekh, Chala, or Ratnashaili designs. Once a year, deities and devotees gather around the Dol Mancha, after which the idol returns to the main temple.

Tulshi mancha
Tulsi Mancha, a small yet significant architectural feature in the temple courtyard, serves as a Manglik adhistana for Vishnu’s replica, Narayana Seva, according to Vaishnava tradition. These miniature temple forms are built to house the sacred Tulsi plant. Unlike Dol Mancha, Tulsi Mancha has daily significance and is an essential part of the temple premises.
