পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার পিংলা থানার মধ্যে গ্রাম দেবী পিঙ্গলাক্ষীর নামেই গ্রামের নাম পিংলা। মন্দির স্থাপত্যটি অভিনব। সম্মুখে বারান্দা যুক্ত সমতল ছাদ বিশিষ্ট দালান মন্দিরের উপরে একটি আটচালা কাঠামো নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। মন্দিরে কোন টেরাকোটার কারুকার্য নেই। ইটের তৈরি বিশিষ্ট ঘরানার এই মন্দিরটি অন্য স্থাপত্যের ইঙ্গিত দেয়। বর্তমানে পুরোটাই প্লাস্টার করা।
অনুবাদ মন্দির টি ১৮ শতকের শেষ দিকে তৈরি হয়েছে।
Pingla is a village in Pingla police station of Paschim Medinipur district, named after the goddess Pinglalakshi. The temple architecture is unique. A flat roofed building with a verandah in front has been constructed with aat chala structure over the temple.
There is no terracotta work in the temple. This temple, which is a prominent style of brick construction, suggests a different architecture. It is now completely plastered.
The temple is believed to have been built in the late 18th century.
