হুগলি জেলার ধনেখালি থানার অন্তর্গত দশঘরা গ্রামটি অতিশয় বর্ধিষ্ণু। এই গ্রামে সদানন্দ বিশ্বাস এবং তার পরিবার অনেক পুরাকীর্তি স্থাপনের সাথে যুক্ত ছিলেন। পঞ্চরত্ন মন্দির ,দোল মঞ্চ ,রাস মঞ্চ , শিব মন্দির এরকম দেবালয় নির্মাণ তাদের অন্যতম কীর্তি। এছাড়াও তাদের নির্মিত কাছারি বাড়ি বৈঠকখানা নহবত খানা এখনো দেখা যায়। এই গ্রামের আরেক কৃতি মানুষ বিপিন কৃষ্ণ রায়ও অনেক অবদান রেখে গেছেন। বিরাট ক্লক টাওয়ার যুক্ত ফটক, ঠাকুরবাড়ি ,দুর্গাদলান, চিকিৎসালয় , রাসমঞ্চ এসব নির্মাণ করে তিনি দশঘড়া গ্রামকে এক অনন্য পর্যায়ে উন্নীত করেছিলেন।
সদানন্দ বিশ্বাস ১৭২৯ খ্রিস্টাব্দে এখানকার বিখ্যাত পঞ্চরত্ন মন্দির টি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। মন্দিরটি পশ্চিমমুখী। মন্দিরটি অনেকবার সংস্কার হয়েছে। এর তিনদিকের দেয়ালেই টেরাকোটার কাজ রয়েছে। বাঁকানো চাল যুক্ত ছাদের চার কোনায় চারটি এবং একটি কেন্দ্রীয় চূড়া নিয়ে পঞ্চরত্ন মন্দিরটি গঠিত। রং করে সংস্কার করা হলেও টেরাকোটা ফলক গুলি অনেকাংশেই অক্ষত আছে।
The village of Dashghara, under Dhanekhali police station of Hooghly district, is very prosperous. In this village, Sadananda Biswas and his family were associated with the establishment of many ancient monuments. The construction of temples like Pancharatna Temple, Dol Mancha, Ras Mancha, Shiv Mancha are among their achievements.
In addition, the Kachari house and the meeting house built by them can still be seen. Another famous person of this village, Bipin Krishna Roy, also left a lot of contribution.He elevated the village of Dasghara to a unique level by constructing a gate with a huge clock tower, a Thakurbari, a Durgadlan, a hospital, and a Rashmancha.
Sadananda Biswas founded the famous Pancharatna Temple here in 1729 AD. The temple faces west. The temple has been renovated many times. It has terracotta work on all three sides of the walls.
The Pancharatna temple consists of a curved roof with one pinnacle in each four corners and a central pinnacle. Although it has been renovated and painted, the terracotta panels are largely intact.
