শ্রদ্ধেয় মন্দির গবেষক তারাপদ সাঁতরা মহাশয়ের নিবন্ধ থেকে জানা যায় ( হাওড়া জেলার পুরা কীর্তি , ১৯৭৬) , আমতা থানার অন্তর্গত রায় পাড়ায় ৺ কাশীরাম রায়ের প্রতিষ্ঠিত গৃহদেবতা লক্ষ্মী জনার্দনের একটি মন্দির আছে। ইঁটের তৈরি দোতলা দালান মন্দিরটি একটু বিশিষ্ট ধরনের।
মন্দিরটি সংক্ষিপ্ত বর্ণনায় বলা আছে এখানে পোড়ামাটির অলংকরণের বদলে পঙ্খের কিছু নকাশি কাজ ছিল। প্রতিষ্ঠা লিপিটি এইরকম

এ থেকে বোঝা যায় যে আজ থেকে ৫০ বছর আগেও মন্দিরটির অস্তিত্ব ছিল। ২০১৭ সালে পরিদর্শন কালে মন্দিরটির আমূল সংস্কার পরিলক্ষিত হয়।
কেবলমাত্র প্রতিষ্ঠা ফলকটি দেখে এটাই যে পূর্ব বর্ণিত মন্দির সেটুকু বোঝা যায়। সম্ভবত পূর্বমুখী দোতলা দালান মন্দিরের কাঠামোটা একই আছে।
It is known from the article of the respected temple researcher Tarapada Santra Mahasoy (Howrah jelar purakirti, 1976), that in Roy Para under Amta Police Station, there is a temple of the household deity Lakshmi Janardan, established by Late Kasiram Roy. The two-stored brick temple is of a slightly distinguished type
The brief description of the temple states that instead of terracotta decorations, there were some carvings of Pankha The foundation inscription reads -
"Sri SriRamachandra Subhamasta
Sakabda 1699 Sak"
This suggests that the temple existed 50 years ago. During the visit in 2017, the temple was completely renovated.
Only the foundation plaque indicates that this is the temple mentioned earlier. The structure of the east-facing two-story building is probably the same.
