পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুরের পাথরা গ্রামে যে মন্দির গুচ্ছ দেখা যায় , তার মধ্যে অন্যতম রাসমঞ্চ। এই গ্রামের কাছারি মহলের দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব কোনায় অষ্ট কোন সম্বলিত রাসমঞ্চটি অবস্থিত। ১৮৩২ সালে নির্মিত এই রাসমঞ্চটির বিশেষত্ব হচ্ছে যে কেবলমাত্র এই স্থাপত্য তে যে শিল্পী এটি তৈরি করেছিলেন , গণেশ মিস্ত্রি , তার নাম খোদিত আছে।
এক সময় প্রত্যেক কোনায় দুটি করে মোট ১৬ টি মূর্তি এখানে উৎকীর্ণ ছিল। কিন্তু বর্তমানে তা প্রায় অবলুপ্ত। মহম্মদ ইয়াসিন পাঠান লিখিত পাত্র এ ভিলেজ অফ টেম্পল বইয়ে এর বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা আছে।
Rasmancha is one of the temple clusters seen in Pathra village of West Midnapore. The octagonal Rasmancha is located in the southeast corner of the Kachari Mahal of this village. The specialty of this Rashmanch, built in 1832, is that it is the only structure to have the name of the artist who built it, Ganesh Mistry, engraved on it.
In early time, there were a total of 16 statues carved here, two in each corner. But now it is almost extinct. It is described in detail in the book 'PATHRA A village of Temples' written by Mohammad Yasin Pathan.
