মালদা জেলার গৌড় দুর্গের মধ্যে একটি প্রাসাদপ্রাচীরের ধ্বংসাবশেষ আছে ধ্বংসাবশেষ আছে। দুর্গের ভেতরে দুর্গের ভেতরে একটি রাজপ্রাসাদ একটি রাজপ্রাসাদ অবস্থিত ছিল অবস্থিত ছিল। তিনটি ভাগে বিভক্ত তিনটি ভাগে বিভক্ত এই রাজপ্রাসাদটি হাভেলি খাস নামে পরিচিত।
দুর্গ প্রাকার কে ঘিরে এই প্রাচীরটি উচ্চতায় ছিল ২২ গজ বা ৬৬ ফুট, তাই এই প্রাচীর টির নাম বাইশগজি প্রাচীর। ধ্বংসাবশেষ থেকে অনুমানের ভিত্তিতে বিশেষজ্ঞরা মনে করেন যে প্রাচিরটির পরিধি ১৯০০ থেকে ২৪০০ গজের মধ্যে। প্রাচীরটি ভিত্তিমূলে প্রায় ১৫ ফুট চওড়া এবং ওপরদিকে এসে ৯ ফুট হয়েছে।
প্রাচীর ঘেরা সমস্ত দুর্গের কিছু ধ্বংসাবশেষ এখনো অবশিষ্ট আছে এবং সংরক্ষিত হচ্ছে।
There are ruins of a palace wall in the Gaur Fort in Malda district. A royal palace was located inside the fort.This palace, divided into three parts, is known as Haveli Khas.
This wall surrounding the fort was 22 yards or 66 feet high, hence the name of this wall is Baisaghji Wall. Based on estimates from the ruins, experts believe that the circumference of the wall is between 1900 and 2400 yards. The wall was about 18 feet at its base and 9 feet at the top.
Some ruins of the entire walled fort still remain and are being preserved.
