বাংলায় যে ৬টি ২৫ চূড়া মম্দির রয়েছে তার মধ্যে মুর্শিদাবাদে নসিপুরের মন্দিরটি অন্যতম। নসিপুরের রাজবাড়ির ভেতরে এই মন্দিরটির অবস্থান। মন্দিরের গায়ে মার্বেল পাথরের একটি ফলকে দেখা যায় যে এর প্রতিষ্ঠাকাল ১৭৯৩ সাল। তৎকালীন জমিদার দেবী সিং রাজবাড়িটি নির্মান করেন ১৭৭৬ সালে এবং মন্দিরটি রাজা উদমন্ত সিংহ প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন ১৭৯৩ সালে। মন্দিরের মধ্যে এবং রাজবাড়ির গায়ে প্রতিষ্ঠালিপি হিসাবে এই উল্লেখ ছাড়া আর কোনও প্রামাণ্য প্রতিষ্ঠা কালের হদিস দেখা যায় না । আলোচ্য মন্দিরটি রাজবাড়ির প্রাঙ্গনের ভিতরে অবস্থিত।
শ্রদ্ধেয় অমিয়কুমার বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় এটিকে রামচন্দ্রের মন্দির বলেই উল্লেখ করেছেন। কিন্তু অন্যান্য কয়েকটি গ্রন্থে এটি শিব মন্দির বলে উল্লেখিত হয়েছে। মূল মন্দিরটিতে টেরাকোটার অলংকরন কিছু নেই। কেবলমাত্র নাটমন্দিরটিতে সামান্য কিছু অলংকরণ দেখতে পাওয়া যায়।
মন্দিরের ২৫ টি চূড়ার সামনে আরও একটি বড় চূড়ার অবস্থান রয়েছে। মূল গর্ভগৃহের উপরের ২৫টি চূড়া এবং সামনের দিকে মণ্ডপ অংশের উপর আর একটি চূড়াকে ধরলে সামগ্রিকভাবে মন্দিরের চূড়ার সংখ্যা হয় ২৬। এই ২৫টি চূড়ার অবস্থান অন্যান্য পঁচিশচূড়া মন্দিরের থেকে সম্পূর্ণ আলাদা। মূল গর্ভগৃহের ছাদের উপর একটি প্লাটফর্মের উপরেই স্তূপ আকারে ২৫টি চূড়ার সংস্থাপন করা হয়েছে।
পিরামিড আকৃতিতে প্রথম ধাপে আটটি চূড়া এবং দ্বিতিয় ও তৃতীয় ধাপে আটটি করে চূড়া সংস্থাপন করে তার উপরেই বিরাট আকারের কেন্দ্রীয় চূড়াটি স্থাপিত হয়েছে। এইভাবে তিন ধাপে আটটি করে মোট ২৪ টি এবং কেন্দ্রীয় ভাবে একটি মোট ২৫টি চূড়ার অবস্থান হয়েছে। সমস্ত মন্দিরটি সাদা রং দিয়ে সজ্জিত।
টেরাকোটা কারুকার্য সংস্থাপিত না হওয়ায় এই বিশাল আকৃতির মন্দিরটির স্থাপত্যগত ভাবে মূল আকর্ষণের জায়গাটি হচ্ছে ২৬টি চূড়া বা রত্ন।
মন্দিরটি একটি ট্রাস্ট দ্বারা পরিচালিত এবং এখানে নিত্যপূজা হয়।
The temple at Nasipur in Murshidabad is one of the six 25-spired temples in Bengal. This temple is located inside the Nasipur palace. A marble plaque on the temple indicates that it was founded in 1793.
The then landlord Devi Singh built the palace in 1776 and the temple was founded by Raja Udman Singh in 1793. Apart from this mention in the foundation inscription inside the temple and on the palace, there is no other authentic evidence of the founding date.
The temple in question is located inside the premises of the palace.
The venerable Amiyakumar Banerjee has mentioned it as the temple of Ramachandra. But in some other books it is mentioned as the temple of Shiva. The main temple does not have any terracotta decoration.
Only a few decorations can be seen in the Natmandir.
There is another large spire in front of the 25 spires of the temple. Including the 25 spires above the main sanctum and another spire on the front of the mandapa, the total number of spires in the temple is 26.
The location of these 25 spires is completely different from other twenty-five spire temples. The 25 spires have been installed in the form of a stupa on a platform on the roof of the main sanctum.
In a pyramidal shape, eight peaks are installed in the first stage and eight peaks each in the second and third stages, with a large central peak placed on top of them. In this way, a total of 24 peaks are located in three stages, eight each, and one in the center, for a total of 25 peaks.
The entire temple is decorated in white.
The main architectural attraction of this huge temple, as the terracotta work is not installed, is the 26 peaks or gems.
The temple is run by a trust and daily worship is held here.
