র্তমানে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার দাসপুর থানার এলাকাধীন নাড়াজোল একসময় মেদিনীপুরের অন্যতম বৃহত জমিদারি ছিল। বিশিষ্ট ঐতিহাসিক বিনয় ঘোষ রচিত গ্রন্থে দেখা যায় নাড়াজোল এর রাজবংশ ছিল সদগোপ জাতীয়। নাড়াজলের রাজা ত্রিলোচন খানের মৃত্যুর পর তার ভ্রাতুষ্পুত্র মতিরাম খান এবং মতিরাম খানের মৃত্যুর পর তার পিতৃব্য পুত্র সিতারাম খান এই অঞ্চলের রাজা হন। সিতারামের মৃত্যুর পর আনন্দলাল খান এবং আনন্দ লালখান নিঃসন্তান অবস্থায় মারা গেলে ১২১৭ বঙ্গাব্দে তার মধ্যম ভাই নন্দলাল খান নাড়াজোলের রাজা হন। বর্তমানে খান পরিবারের তত্ত্বাবধানে সমস্ত সম্পত্তি রয়েছে।
রাজবাড়ীর চৌহদ্দি আয়তনে প্রায় 500 বিঘার মত এবং বাহির গড় ও অন্তর্গড় দুটি ভাগে বিভক্ত। রাজবাড়ীর ভিতরে অট্টালিকা, মন্দির, পূজার দালান , বৈঠকখানা এইসব স্থাপত্যে একসময় পরিপূর্ণ ছিল। বর্তমানে অধিকাংশই ধ্বংসন্মুখ।
Narajol, now under the Daspur police station of West Midnapore district, was once one of the largest zamindaris in Midnapore. According to a book written by the eminent historian Binoy Ghosh, the dynasty of Narajol was of the 'Sadgop'. After the death of King Trilochan Khan of Narajal, his nephew Matiram Khan and after the death of Matiram Khan, his paternal son Sitaram Khan became the king of this region. After the death of Sitaram, Anandalal Khan and Anandal Khan died childless, and in 1217, his middle brother Nandalal Khan became the king of Narajol. Currently, all the properties are under the supervision of the Khan family.
The palace grounds are about 500 bighas in area and are divided into two parts, the outer courtyard and the inner courtyard. The palace was once filled with buildings, temples, worship halls, and meeting rooms. Most of them are now in ruins.
