পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার ঘাটাল থানার দন্দীপুর গ্রামে একটি খুব সুন্দর পোড়ামাটির টেরাকোটা ফলক চিত্রিত মন্দির আছে। দক্ষিণ মুখী এই পঞ্চরত্ন মন্দিরটি এলাকার একটি উল্লেখযোগ্য পুরাকীর্তি। মন্দিরের উপাস্য দেবতা রঘুনাথজীউ। এছাড়াও শ্রীদাম এবং গোপালের মূর্তি এখানে আছে।
মন্দিরের সম্মুখভাগ প্রায় সবটাই টেরাকোটা ফলকে আচ্ছাদিত। ত্রিখিলান মন্দিরের শীর্ষে রাম রাবণের যুদ্ধ, কৃষ্ণ লীলা, বিভিন্ন পৌরাণিক কাহিনী উৎকীর্ণ হয়েছে.। গর্ভক গৃহে প্রবেশ দরজার দুপাশে পোড়ামাটির দ্বারপাল মূর্তি আছে। এছাড়াও মন্দিরের নিচের দিকে এবং স্তম্ভে বিভিন্ন ফলক সংস্থাপিত হয়েছে। সামাজিক দৃশ্যপট বিদেশীদের উপস্থিতি স্বীকার দৃশ্য সংক্রান্ত ফলক এখানে দেখতে পাওয়া যায়।
কোন প্রাচীন ফলক লিপি না থাকলেও বর্তমানে শ্বেতপাথরের একটি ফলকে ১২৩২ সনে স্থাপিত হওয়ার কথা বলা হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ ১৮২৫ খ্রিস্টাব্দে মন্দিরটি নির্মিত বলে ধরে নেয়া যায় ।
অধুনা মন্দিরটি সার্বিকভাবে সংস্কার করা হলেও টেরাকোটা ফলক গুলি মোটামুটি অক্ষত আছে।
মন্দিরটির প্রতিষ্ঠাতা বাঙাল পদবিধারি পরিবার । বর্তমান সেবায়েতদের মধ্যে বাঙাল পদবীধারী ব্যক্তি ছাড়াও ঘোষ পদবীধারী ব্যক্তিরাও রয়েছেন
There is a very beautiful temple with terracotta plaques in Dandipur village of Ghatal police station in West Midnapore district. This south-facing Pancharatna temple is a notable archaeological site in the area. The deity of the temple is Raghunathjiu. There are also idols of Sridam and Gopala here.
The facade of the temple is almost entirely covered with terracotta panels. On the top of the three-arched temple, the battle of Rama and Ravana, Krishna Leela, and various mythological stories are carved. There are terracotta gatekeeper statues on both sides of the entrance door to the temple. Also, various plaques have been installed at the bottom of the temple and on the pillars. Plaques related to social scenes and scenes acknowledging the presence of foreigners can be seen here.
Although there is no ancient inscription, a white stone tablet currently states that it was established in 1232 AD. That is, it can be assumed that the temple was built in 1825 AD.
Although the temple has been completely renovated, the terracotta plaques are still intact.
The temple was founded by a Bangal ( surname ) family. The current temple prists , include people with the Ghosh surname in addition to those with the Bangal surname.
