রত্ন শৈলীর মন্দিরে ত্রয়োদশ রত্ন মন্দির খুবই সীমিত। সাধারণভাবে নবরত্ন মন্দিরে দোতলার ওপরে আরেকটি তল বাড়িয়ে চারটি রত্নের সংস্থাপন করা হয়। তাহলে মোট রত্নের সংখ্যা দাঁড়ায় ১৩। এর ব্যতিক্রম আরেকটি ঘরানা আছে এটা একতলা এবং একটাই প্রবেশদ্বার। এক্ষেত্রে পঞ্চরত্ন মন্দিরের কার্নিশের চারদিকে অতিরিক্ত আরো দুটি করে মোট আটটি রত্ন বা চুড়া যোগ করে ত্রয়োদশ রত্ন মন্দির তৈরি করা হয়েছে। এই ঘরানাটিকে বলা হয় দুবরাজপুর ঘরানা।
The Thirteen Ratna (13 Pinnacled) temple is a rare variant within the Ratna style temple tradition. Typically, this design is achieved by adding a third storey to the Navaratna temple, featuring four additional ratnas or gems above the existing nine. This configuration results in a total of 13 pinnacles.
However, an exception to this norm exists in the form of a single-storey, single-entrance Thirteen Ratna temple. In this unique design, eight additional ratnas are strategically placed around the cornice of a Pancharatna temple, effectively creating a 13-pinnacled structure.
This distinctive architectural genre is known as the Dubrajpur style, named after its region of origin.
