মালদা জেলার ইংলিশ বাজার থানার অন্তর্গত চন্দননগর গ্রামে কদম -ই- রসুল মসজিদ টি অবস্থিত। নবী হজরত মহম্মদের পদচিহ্ন (কদম -ই- রসুল) এই স্থাপত্য টির ভিতরে অবস্থিত। বিশেষজ্ঞগণের মতে যেহেতু স্মৃতি বা স্মারক ইসলাম ধর্ম বিরুদ্ধ , সে কারণ এই সামগ্রিক বিষয়টিতে হিন্দু সংস্কৃতির প্রভাব পড়েছে।
মসজিদের মধ্যে ফলক লিপি অনুসারে হিজরী ৯৩৭ বা ১৫৩১ খ্রিস্টাব্দে সুলতান নসরাৎ শাহ এই ভবনটি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছিলেন। আর্কিওলজিক্যাল সার্ভে অফ ইন্ডিয়ার স্থাপত্য পরিচিতি সংক্রান্ত বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এটিকে মসজিদ হিসাবে বলা হয়েছে। যদিও এর ভেতরে কোন মেহরাব নেই। কক্ষের মধ্যভাগে একটি কালো রঙের বেদীর উপরে রসূলের পদচিহ্ন রক্ষিত আছে।
এক গম্বুজ বিশিষ্ট এই স্থাপত্যটির চার কোনায় চারটি আট কোনা বুরুজ রয়েছে। গম্বুজ শীর্ষে উল্টানো পদ্ম আকৃতির অলংকার লক্ষ্য করা যায়। বুরুজ গুলি অনেকাংশে অলংকৃত ছিল।
Kadam-e-Rasul Mosque is located in Chandannagar village under English Bazar police station of Malda district. The footprint of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Kadam-e-Rasul) is located inside this structure. According to experts, since the memorial or memorial is against Islam ,that is because this overall matter has been influenced by Hindu culture.
According to the inscription on the plaque inside the mosque, Sultan Nusrat Shah founded this building in 937 Hijri or 1531 AD.
The Archaeological Survey of India's architectural profile plaque describes it as a mosque, although there is no mihrab inside. In the middle of the room, a black altar holds the footprints of the Prophet.
This single-domed structure has four octagonal towers at its four corners. The dome is topped with an inverted lotus-shaped ornament.
